Fred Jordan Mission: Banquet in the Street

Skid Row gets transformed into a massive communal feast with all the fixings. Nearly 2,000 volunteers turn out to help serve traditional turkey dinners to thousands of needy families.

Downtown Women’s Center: Karaoke Feast
Utilize your weekend-warrior karaoke skills to entertain homeless women downtown. If your lungs need a break, sign up for the breakfast or crafting shifts.

Santa Monica Civic Auditorium: Westside Thanksgiving
Donate a bird or volunteer to cook one. You can also help out with prep work, picking up and delivering items, as well as setting up the facility.

Union Station Homeless Services: Thanksgiving in the Park
For more than 30 years, Union Station Homeless Services has provided one of the city’s biggest Thanksgiving potlucks, topping out at more than 5,000 meals being served. Donate turkey, ham, side dishes and dessert (no jello) or volunteer to dish it out.
