Keep up on your favorite musical acts' touring schedules with
Livekick.com, and you'll never miss grabbing tickets again.
Since summer concert schedules practically require a personal assistant to monitor, Aviv Ayal (co-founder of the YouTube predecessor Grouper) and Yarden Tadmor have come up with a fully integrative website for live music lovers.
Enter your location (or locations you are willing to trek to), and
Livekick imports your faves from MySpace, iTunes, Pandora or other music apps, creating a personal profile based on over 40,000 venues and artist tour dates.
When you pick a concert — be it a major act like Green Day or an obscure local favorite —
the site searches major ticket distributors (Ticketmaster, Tickethub, even Craigslist) to find the cheapest and best seats. Stumped? Based on your taste, Livekick generates suggestions of nearby shows that might be of interest.
Free to use, Livekick doesn’t require any software and
communicates using your favorite mobile medium: Twitter, RSS, email or iPhone app. The design makes it easy to understand and a pleasure to look at.
Now, if they could only do the same thing for beer.
